Using a descriptive research design and a mixed research approach, data were collected through questionnaires and interviews from internal and external participants. The findings revealed a strong relationship between career guidance and entrepreneurial skill development. Participants preferred diverse mediums, including guidance frameworks, books, videos, audios, tutorials, and external reference persons for career guidance. The prioritized entrepreneurial skills included finance, management, communication, vocational, social, ethical, leadership, working standards, and professional skills. These skills were seen as crucial for effective money management, business operation, self-confidence, customer care, marketing, job creation, relationship building, discipline, specialization, and adaptability. Creativity, innovation, time management, and computer skills were also emphasized. Integrating entrepreneurial skills into career guidance is crucial for individuals’ professional prospects. Policymakers and educators should prioritize integrating these skills into the curriculum. The study recommends implementing and strengthening career guidance frameworks, diversifying guidance mediums, emphasizing entrepreneurial skills, fostering creativity, providing time management training, and enhancing computer skills in secondary schools. |
