dc.description.abstractThe study was about performance management practices and employee performance in banking sector; a case of equity bank Juba head office South Sudan Performance management practices have been adopted by many business or huge firms in different parts of the world as motivational tool leading to high employee performance in organizations. The key objective of this research was to establish and find out factors that motivate employees the relationship between performance management practices and employee performance in the banking industry with the case of Equity bank South Sudan. This research adopted descriptive study design. The study used convenient sampling techniques in finding 40 respondents as the sample size. Interview guide and questionnaires were used as tools for data collection. The principal findings show that Performance management practices such as Staff involvement, Reward and information sharing gives a lot of motivational drive for employee performances leading to high efficiency, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction. And better communication between management and the employees. Employee performance was measured basing on the attributes of Quality of work, quantity of work, Creativity, innovation and Efficiency Kasaya and Munjuri (2018).en_US
