dc.description.abstract The study was about work-life balance and employee productivity in Petroleum Industry in Uganda, focusing on Oryx Energies Uganda Limited. The study was guided by the following study objectives; to examine how time management influence employee productivity at Oryx Energies Uganda Limited, to examine how the management of technological change influence employee productivity at Oryx Energies Uganda Limited and to examine how management of family and work influence employee productivity at Oryx Energies Uganda Limited. The study was guided by the descriptive and cross-sectional research design, and data was obtained from 95 respondents. From the correlations (Pearson, 2-Tailed), P at .000 with .997, shows that effective and efficient productivity of the staff can best be achieved through proper time management because the tasks have to be scheduled, customer orders fulfilled in given periods of time and there are performance targets for every given period of time. Further with R. 997 (a), R. square .994 and Adj. R. Square .994, the effective time management is vital in the timely operation and performance of a formal Organization like Oryx Energies Uganda Limited. With Beta (.997) and Sig. 000, work-life balance and employee productivity have a strong synergy because the staff who are able to enjoy both their work and the family tend to be more relaxed and fulfilled at the job. According to the Analysis of Variance above, mean square at 144.006 regression and .009 with Sig. 000, it means that there is a significant relationship between work-life balance and employee productivity at Oryx Energies Uganda Limited. The Pearson’s (2-tailored) correlations, with .982 and sig. 2-tailored at.000, indicates that the advancement of technology has a substantial effect on productivity, for instance Oryx Energies Limited would achieve better outputs with more efficient systems of production in place, thus for both remote workers and in-house teams at Oryx Energies Uganda Limited. In addition, R square at .964 and Ad. R square at .964 above, indicates that technological change brings efficiency into production processes and labour productivity. Technological change can result in improvements in efficiency and productivity, which could lower costs of production for firms. The quality and quantity of goods and services produced might improve. The adoption of technology at Oryx Energies Uganda Limited for both remote workers and in-house teams, can improve productivity for employees by offering better collaboration, communication and time-saving tools. From R. Square at .956 and Adj. R Square at .956 and Sig. 000, productivity measures how efficiently an organization or its employees convert inputs, like labor and capital, into outputs, like goods or services. There is a significant and positive correlation between management of family and work influence employee productivity at Oryx Energies Uganda Limited. The study recommends that there should be regular and proper communication in order to improve team productivity, there is need to reward the best working employees, because employees work best when their efforts are appreciated and they are given incentives, and there should be constant and consistent performance reviews and constructive feedback process in the team. There is no way employee productivity can improve if the employees do not know they are being inefficient in the first place, hence, constructive feedback is essential to improve team productivity. en_US
