A correlational descriptive research design was used. The major data collection methods and tools used were self-administered questionnaire interviews and group discussions. Data was analysed partly using SPSS and frequency Counts and percentages. The findings presented indicated that 80% of the teachers were demotivated and there is poor performance. It also recommended the application of organizational factors such as recognition and appreciation and many more to impress and improve on teachers’ motivation. It recommended that every school should have a human resource manager who is able to assess in time the declining motivation of teachers and its causes and advise the management accordingly.
