dc.description.abstract This study was based on the topic “effect of efficient teachers’ time management practices on learners’ academic performance, a study of selected government aided primary schools Kakumiro town council”. The objectives of the study were; To evaluate the impact of instructors’ Timely goal setting on learners’ performance; To determine the impact of educators’ Time prioritisation on learners’ performance; and To examine the impact of educators’ Time planning on learners’ performance. The study employed a cross-sectional survey design. A sample size of 76 teachers was used from a population of 84 teachers. Respondents were selected by simple random sampling. The researcher concluded that timely goal setting positively affects learners’ academic performance (r = 0.975, p<0.01). Time prioritisation positively affects learners’ academic performance (r = 0.985, p<0.01), Teachers’ time planning positively affects learners’ academic performance (r = 0.938, p<0.01).The study recommended that; teachers receive training on how to create realistic goals in conjunction with improved student academic performance; Teachers should always prioritize their time to handle the most pertinent topics for the learners’ academic attainment; Teachers should always set plans for their time on a regular basis. en_US
