Abstract:
This study set out to investigate the issues that haunt the education system in our primary schools. It took on from the studies that have examined the concepts of time management and administration in schools and used the cross-sectional survey methods to arrive at the conclusions and the recommendations. Time management systems often include a time clock or web-based application used to track an employee’s work hours. Time management systems give employers insights into their workforce, allowing them to see, plan and manage employees' time. Doing so allows employers to control labor costs and increase productivity. A time management system automates processes, which eliminates paper work and tedious tasks. The questionnaires and interviews took the researcher to many stake holders to ascertain their views in regard to the problem of time management. The study recommends among other issues, prioritization, non-procrastination, and completion of assignments given.
